Pros: Rarely have we seen so many "good for your shave/skin" ingredients packed into one product. (Aloe, Witchhazel, chamomile, patchouli, sandalwood, St. John's wort, lavender, marshmellow root.) The ingredient label on Miessence After Shave Balm reads like a trip to your local Whole Foods or Organic Market! So let's open it up and try it.

Dispenser: Enviro friendly recyclable plastic pump allows for easy application. (I started with 3 pumps as prescribed but gradully reduced to 2) I dropped it on my tile floor and even stepped on it to see if I could get the top to fly off. I know, that sounds weird, but that's the kind of stuff that happens to me at 4:30am when I'm late for the airport!

Usage: The balm lays down light as I would suspect, with a mild lavender scent, and a pleasant soothing afterglow. aka lavender, witchahazel, Aloe. Once the balm began to dry on my skin, I actually felt the skin on my face tighten ever so slightly. Take it from one who knows, a toned face=sex appeal.

Final Result: Great shave, great finish. Because Miessence After Shave Balm is so light, I don't feel any residual and feel confident applying an SPF over the balm isn't going to gung my pores/face.
